If you missed Saturday’s UFC event, here’s what really mattered at UFC 201.

July was a crazy month for the sport’s leading promotion, and UFC 201, which airs on pay-per-view from Philips Arena in Atlanta, didn’t have quite the buzz that have accompanied other recent events. But the card ended up delivering on action – and Tyron Woodley (16-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) ended up delivering on his claim that he is the best welterweight in the world.

In a stunning main event, Woodley floored reigning champ Robbie Lawler (27-11 MMA, 12-5 UFC) in the opening round and jumped on top to finish the job a little more than two minutes into the contest. The devastating finish saw Woodley claim the UFC welterweight title.

But there were other big performances, as well.
